Cap: 1-4,5 cm across, first hemispherical, later convex to expanded, with or without a broad umbo, dry, smooth or splitting into polygons, dark to dark brown, against margin paler, margin is more or less involute.
Hymenophore: lamellae are first pale, whitish, later buff clay, emarginate, crowded, broad, edge is paler, without droplets.

Spore: elliptic to ovoid, 9,1-13,1 x 5-7,3 μm
Stem: 3-6 x 0,3-0,6 cm, cylindric or little widened toward the base, in whole length fibrillose, sometimes longitudinally split, on apex floccose, initially whitish, with age coloring clay buff.
Flesh: whitish, in stem in age clay buff colored, without taste or odor.
Habitat: found under willow species, grows in summer.
