Detailed description


Cap: 1,5-4 cm across, first convex campanulate, later plane, sometimes with a low umbo, smooth, fine radially fibrillose veined, dull silky, light brown to light reddish brown, toward the margin lighter, margin is faintly striate, irregularly undulating and somewhat cleft.
Hymenophore: lamellae are gray beige, crowded, smooth to grooved, red brown with a gray tint, whitish tomentose furfuraceous, base is whitish tomentose, hollow, tough, corticate.
Spore print: creamy
Spore: elliptic, 5,7-9,5 x 2,5-3,7 μm
Stem: 4-9 x 0,3-0,7 cm, cylindric, sometimes twisted or compressed, apex is widened, smooth to grooved, red brown with a gray tint, whitish tomentose furfuraceous, base is whitish tomentose, hollow, corticate, tough.
Flesh: brownish, watery, thin, tough, odor is pleasant, taste is mild.
Habitat: clustered in hardwood and coniferous forests on leaves or needle litter, grows from august to october.
Edibility: inedible
