Detailed description


Cap: 6-12 cm across, ovoid to hemispherical when young, later convex, whitish when young, later pale to gray, margin acute, striate.
Hymenophore: smooth, white, broad, free edges finely floccose.
Spore print: white
Spore: subglobose to broadly elliptical, 10-13,1 x 9,4-12,5 μm
Stem: 7-18 x 1-2,5 cm, cylindrical, tapered toward to apex, solid when young, hollow when old, white surface, entire length is girdled with whitish to ocher veil remnants, toward the base often suggestioned with annular zone membranous volva.
Flesh: white, thin, odorless, no taste.
Habitat: gregarious in dry places in forest clearings, at forest edges in grass, grows from summer to fall.
Edibility: inedible
