Fruiting body: 0,5-1 x 0,2-0,7 cm, first rounded to ovoid and completely closed with a yellow do ocher cover (epiphragma), which by maturity releases and the whole opening is free, later pan to barel shaped, outside surface is first whitish to yellowish, later brown to black brown and tomentose, inside is up to 15 creamy to ocher and smooth, on ground with creamy lenticular peridoles, which include the spores and is in a thread (funiculus) thread-like connected, withotu stem.
Hymenophore: is inside of the whitish cups.
Spore print: white-hyaline
Spore: elliptic, 7-10 x 3,5-5 μm
Flesh: soft, tough, one layered, without odor and taste.
Habitat: gregarios to clustered on rotten wood and composed plants, grows from summer to fall.
