Cap: from 20 cm wide to 3 cm thick, consisting of several pilei which develop from a thick trunk, upper surface is slightly undulating, tuberculate, radially striate, smooth, somewhat concentrically zoned, ocher brown to brown.
Hymenophore: first white, later ocherish, thick tubes, covered with decurrent pores.
