Detailed description


Cap: 2-5 cm across, first convex rounded, later flat, whitish, covered with sparse brownish purple fibers or flakes, if old more yellowish to ocher, margin is young inflexed, later sharp.
Hymenophore: lamellae are first light gray brown, later dark purple broen, free, tight.
Spore print: dark brown
Spore: short elliptic, 4-5,5 x 3,5-4 μm
Stem: 2-5 x 0,4-0,8 cm, cylindric, toward the base bulbous to enlarged, whitish, slender club shaped, glabrous, ring is delicate membranous, hanging, gainst base darker and with yellow brown tones.
Flesh: yellowish, on stem base if touched chrome yellow, odor is weakly anise like,m on stem base like lamonds, tast eis mild.
Habitat: mostly solitary in hardwood forests, grows from summer to fall.
Edibility: edible
