Detailed description


Cap: 2-3,5 cm across, first hemispherical, later convex to plane, sometimes with a little umbo, smooth, dull, young white, later increasing pale yellow to yellow, in center if old ocher brown, toward the margin paler and appressed fibrillose, margin is acute.
Hymenophore: lamellae are first pale pink, later increasing dark pink to purple brown, broad, free.
Spore print: purple brown
Spore: oval, 4,5-5,9 x 3-3,8 μm
Stem: 3-4,5 x 0,5-1 cm, cylindric, sometimes toward the base pointed, stuffed to hollow, rigid, surface is white and smooth above the annulus, below it silky fibrillose, white, yellow toward the base, annulus pendennt, thin membranous, delicate, white.
Flesh: white, if cut faintly yellow, in center thick, toward the margin thin, odor is like almonds, taste is mild, nutty.
Habitat: solitary to gregarious in meadows and pastures, among grass, grows from summer to fall.
Edibility: inedible
