Cap: 4-20 cm across, hemispherical when young, later convex to plane, smooth surface, finely tomentose, hazel brown to dark brown, margin even, incurved.
Hymenophore: smooth, white when young, later yellow to olive green.

Stem: 5-12 x 3-6 cm, ventricose when young, later cylindric, or clavate, white to light brown surface, cowered with a white net.
Flesh: white, firm, odor and taste pleasant.
Habitat: in hardwood and coniferous forests, grows in summer to fall.
