Cap: 5-15 cm across, young hemispherical to convex, latter plane and dented in the center, old infundibuliform, when dry matt surface, fiber-tomentose, pink-brown, usually zoned, margin incurved.
Hymenophore: lamellae are pink ocher, notched and broadly adnate, forked, edges smooth.
Spore print: cream
Spore: elliptical with ornament, 6,7-8,8(9,4) x 5,5-6,7(7,2) μm, with many warts and ribs, which are morely net-like connected.
Stem: 2-6 x 0,8-2 cm, cylindrical, solid when young, later hollow, surface smooth to sometimes longitudinally fibrilled, pale red to pink-brownish, brighter on the base.
Flesh: white, odor fruitty, taste acrid.
Milk: white, does not change on air, acrid.
Habitat: gregarious in hardwood, parks, gardens, grows from summer to fall.
