Habit of Growth: Saprotroph

Detailed description


Cap: 2-5 cm across, saddle-shaped, irregularly two- to three-lobed, margin not fused with the stalk, Hymenium whitish to ocher, wrinkled, undulating.
Hymenophore: white, smooth, on the outside, with 1 drop, young spores often with rounded warts.
Spore print: white
Spore: elliptical, 18-20,8 x 11-13,6 μm
Stem: 3-8 x 1-2,5 cm, irregular sharp-edged longitudinal ribs, stiff, divided internally into longitudinal chambers, whitish.
Flesh: white, fragile, no distinguished taste and odor.
Habitat: in broadleaved and mixed forests, on loamy-sandy soil, commonly on borders of natural paths, also in grass, grows from late summer to fall.
Edibility: poisonous
