Habit of Growth: Saprotroph

Detailed description


Cap: 2-5 cm across, first convex, later flattened, circular-shaped, center is weak bumped or little dented, dull and smooth, dry, brown orange to apricot colored, also irregular lighter.
Hymenophore: lamellae are cream orange, broad, on stem decurrent with anastomoses.
Spore print: whitish
Spore: broad elliptic, 5-6,4 x 4,1-5,1 μm
Stem: 2,5-4,5 x 0,6-1,2 cm, cylindric, base is tapered, young whitish creamy, later creamy with orange tint, longutudinal whitish fibered, smooth, dry, rigid, fragile, full.
Flesh: cream orange, center is thick, margin is thin, odor and taste are mild.
Habitat: solitary to gregarious in pastures and meadows, on forest edges, grows from summer to fall.
