Detailed description

Fruiting body: 2-15 cm, cup to saucer-shaped, irregulary expanded and flat, smooth hymenium and bright red-orange, lighter outer surface and finely furfuraceous, stalkless.
Hymenophore: distinct coarsely reticulate ornamentation, with tornlike processes on the ends.
Spore print: white-hyaline
Spore: elliptical, 14-16 X 7,2-8,5 μm
Flesh: thin, fragile flesh, lighter red-orange, no odor and no taste.
Habitat: gregariously on freshly broken ground, on path embankments, edges of forest roads, grows from july to october.
Edibility: edible
